We have had a very busy few weeks; between sickness and regular life demands, I feel as though I am playing catchup on many fronts. We had a family stay with us for 5 days which added 6 more children and 2 more adults to our regular mix. During their stay we also had our family's annual "birthday season" when half of our kids have birthdays back to back. Lydia's birthday was Monday and Philip's was Tuesday. On Sunday we had kids ages 8, 6, 3, 2. On Monday they were ages 9, 6, 3, 2. And by Tuesday they were ages 9, 6, 4, 2. It's kind of funny. Anyway, here's a photo of Lydia in a new outfit on her 9th birthday. You can pretty well guess what the next post is going to be!

Happy 9th Birthday Lydia
